The Viking 17pc Cutlery Set is designed for the home chef continuing to refine their cutlery handling skills. Featured in the set are both the most commonly used everyday knives like a Chef Knife, and Paring Knife, plus additional styles like the Boning Knife and 5” Serrated Utility Knife, to expand your cutlery library with more advanced blades that make easy work of any culinary task at hand. The premium German steel blades are designed to deliver the ideal balance between edge retention and the ability to sharpen the blade while withstanding years of use. The heavy duty forged bolster on the handles help to balance the knife during use while protecting your fingers from sliding forward to the blade itself. The full tang triple riveted handles are ergonomically shaped to provide a secure and comfortable grip. The bolster end of the handle can also be used for crushing garlic, ginger, nuts, and more. The 16-slot cutlery block is made of sustainable Ash wood with Walnut color finish to compliment a wide variety of kitchen designs. This set includes: 8” Chef Knife, 7” Santoku Knife, 8” Carving Knife, 8” Bread Knife, 6” Boning Knife, 5” Serrated Utility Knife, 3.5” Paring Knife, 3.5” Serrated Paring Knife, 6 – 4.5” Steak Knives, 10” Sharpening Steel, Kitchen Shears, and an Ash wood block. The six steak knives are partially serrated to cut through any type of steak. The cutlery is dishwasher safe, but we highly recommend only handwashing cutlery to protect the metal and prevent the cutting edges of the blades from getting damaged in the dishwasher. I’m really impressed with this knife set! Its a sharpener block knife set that includes six steak knives, which is a huge plus for me. The knives are incredibly sharp and make food preparation a breeze. However, it is a bit longer than I would prefer, and I had to push it under my little elevated shelf to make it fit. They are suitable for everyday use or can be stored away for special occasions.

I like this set a lot, BUT it has started to show spots after less than a week of use. Nothing major so far but still annoying. Technically it does say to hand wash or not use heat drying in the dishwasher, but like for real who’s doing that with silverware They feel nice in your hand though and have a good weight once you get used to it.. The box it came in was just cardboard box which I was surprised since it’s a very nice brand. Silverware though came in little plastic foil wrap so it was kind of protected. Besides poor packaging everything looks beautiful. It’s shiny and so clear you can use it as a mirror. Also the knives are so sharp I had to put them away from little kids hands but for cutting purposes they are great. Beautiful set for 4, might get another one for when we’re entertaining and we need bigger set.. Malgorzata. Dunedin, FL. Mon Feb 23 2026
