The chairs are beautiful and well made. The packaging box looks roughly handled. But the chairs are not damaged. They are obviously pretty strong. The bottoms of the chair legs have pads to protect the floor. The floor protectors are a little misaligned but they do not show when the chair is upright. Only negative I would say is that the back, which is not padded, is low and not very comfortable if you are sitting a little slumped. But it is fine if sitting up straight. They are well worth the sale price. But they are not so wonderful that they warrant the original price. I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home. Modern Chair of wood and metal. The box of 2 arrived in good condition. There are 3 pieces to each chair and are easily assembled with one person. The chair is very sturdy and comfortable with the extended arm rests. I wanted an upscale modern natural wood chair that did not look like country and this definitely fit that bill. However, I did not understand that the crossbar beneath the seat on the sides is made of metal not wood like the cross bar in the front and back. This was not apparent to me in the picture. They did a good job matching the paint color of the metal bar to the color of the Wood tone. The sturdiness is probably the result of that metal but not exactly what I had in mind. I wish it was all wood. You can see the metal bars in my pictures. I gave it four star because I love the design but dont like the metal piece as much as I would have liked all wood.. Alesia. It’s a nice chair, on the lower side and quite comfortable It took me 25 minutes to assemble the chair, for me it was straight forward and I didnt have any problems, just follow the instructions and be swear that the bigger holes need to show to the outside to connect the arm pieces, it’s already written in the box so I don’t have the issue at all. The linen product is ok, color is nice, the wood is average and one piece while barely to see came scratched out of the box For the price you’ll not be disappointed and it is a nice piece to look at for sure. Overall these are nice chairs for the price. They seem comfortable — I haven’t spent a ton of time sitting in them yet, but my cats absolutely love lounging on them, so that’s a good sign . A couple things to note: the armrest placement feels a bit off — it’s not super comfortable to actually rest your arms on them. The style kind of reminds me of a doctor’s office waiting room, which isn’t bad but not exactly the vibe I expected. Assembly was mostly easy, but one frustrating part is that there are no pre-drilled screw holes on the bottom. You’re pretty much guessing where to screw the seat in, which was a little annoying.
