The white base has a slight yellow tone , and the worn distressing looks more like someone has handles it with dirty hands instead , this table would be easy to paint . But it has grown on me, it will look great with white upholstered chairs. I am still happy with it. But not in love with it. I did size up because the reviews said the small table looked flimsy next to the chunky legs. Mine is 84 inches long. The shape of the table is timeless and stunning.
