Hand Crafted Outdoor Post Lantern

This lantern head has a warm, welcoming silhouette — perfect by your front door or by your garage to guide you or any visitors in the dark. The frame is made from metal and has an empire shape. It features a gently curved hook detail on top of a vented, squared-off roofline. Candle tubes float within the tapered, clear-seeded glass shade and can hold four lights up to 60W (sold separately). This lantern is dimmable, so you can control the amount of light in your yard. Plus, it's rated for wet locations and safe to use anywhere outside.

We had to replace one of our pier lights as it was broken during a renovation. We kept our fingers crossed that it was still in production and Wayfair had it! And wayfair had it at the best price!! The lights are expensive and the only complaint we have is that the finish wears off pretty quickly. In order to repaint, it’s a pretty intricate disassembly so we’ve been holding off. The powder coating is flawless and appears to have been applied with intention. It comes with easy to follow instructions, and almost everything you need is included, minus a few tools/supplies and a "would like to have." There are two ways to mount the light fixture, on a flat surface (template included) or a 3" round pole. I would have liked to have seen an included gasket for the base for either the round pole or the flat surface to help prevent moisture from getting in underneath, which is why I went with 4 stars.
