Just got it, and love it. Lovely polished natural stone creamy with brown flecks. When you run your hand over it there are few places where you can feel a real stone texture. Love that the feet are adjustable! The delivery team helped even the feet out for me so it didn't wobble. My first Wayfair purchase and was very happy with the communication and the delivery. This is natural stone, which upon reading the sticky label attached to the base, I discovered has no coating and needs special care for cleaning and is, apparently, easily stained. Label had one sentence about recommended to clean with either ammonia and water or mineral spirits (which I would pass on since it will stink up my house for eternity). I used a damp soft cloth. The color is definitely interesting as it’s not a solid brass or gold color. It’s gold with some dark tone accents. The gold color is not very metallic or shimmery and the dark tones are a brownish color. I personally like the different tones and find it to be really fun and different. Assembly was very easy, took 5-10 minutes. I get nervous when I’m opening anything that comes with glass, but everything was packaged nicely. 4.5 stars until I resolve a small issue - more on that later. I stumbled across this despite thinking that I’d looked at every single coffee table or desk and it popped up on the algorithm and I felt like I struck gold. I feel like sending out a PSA do people know that this awesome coffee table turning into a desk exists!! anyway I did have a small issue where I was sent to identical parts that need to be opposite facing I hope that that can be resolved because apart from that I absolutely love this, my goodness.
