It’s a solidly made chair and the leather is soft and top grain. Either the seat cushion is too high or the legs are too long so that the overall seating position is higher than our other dining chairs making them uncomfortable. My wife’s feet do not reach the floor and mine barely touch. We’re both average height. I love the chairs and plan to cut an appropriate amount of wood from the legs and solve the problem. The chairs are beautiful in design. I wish more craftsmanship went into the back of the chaircoral as it did the front since they’re bought as pieces of functional artwork. I was surprised by the 200lb weight limit as that’s lower than most chairs but was most disappointed in the coloring of the light brown colored one (ceruse ).
