I have been searching for months for the perfect vanity chair for our newly-remodeled master bathroom. The design elements were just as important as functionality to me in this space. As our counter is shaving height (with the vanity just a few inches lower), a standard height seat was too short; I needed one that had adjustable height features that didn't scream "office chair." This Matthias Task Chair is just what I needed. Without arm rests, it pushes in almost flush with the counter so that there's still ample room to walk between the tub and the chair. I like that it has casters so that I'm not sliding wood or metal across my new tile floor. And, I wanted something in blue and chrome, which was not easy to find. I do wish it were a tad bit deeper in the seat, but I'm only in it for about 20-minutes max per day to put on make-up; comfort was not my priority. The office chair is sturdy and comfortable to sit on. The seat is wider than usual. Quality is good and easy to assemble. Takes a bit longer when assembling all alone. The foot rest is difficult to pull out. Other than that, its a good office chair overall. Received the chairs seat, footrest and back with some visible scratch marks.
