I've thrown it into the washer and dryer ( on a low setting) and no shrinkage or change in texture. Exactly as shown in the website photo and exactly as I had hoped! My bed is low and I have a queen size bed - so I get the king size quilts so they are to the floor and I don’t have to look at the area between the quilt’s end and the floor (plus my platform bed will not keep a nice bed ruffle in place). I absolutely LOVE this quilt and it is large enough to hang 16" on each side! Very well made. I was concerned when the care tag said Dryer no heat. I machine washed on cool and dryer on 2 delicate cycles and it came out fine, no shrinkage or wrinkles. The pillow shams are large enough for a 6.4 inch thick Tempurpedic dual cooling pillow and has an inside envelope feature to hide pillowcase ends.
