I went with Nautica because of my familiarity with the brand. I am very pleased with this comforter. It is sharp and just right for a "guy's" room (or a woman's too). For environmental responsibility it came vacuum packed but with a quick cut on the plastic the comforter puffed up nicely and has no unpleasant oder to it. It is middle of the road in terms of how thick it is, neither too heavy, nor too light. The shams are nice as well. I am used to ones with the slit in the back to slide a pillow in and out of but these actually have a small zipper which I prefer. For me I simply put old pillows into the shams for appearances so I will not be testing the zippers with any sort of frequency. The comforter looks like the photo. It is very pretty. It is a little thinner than I thought it would be. I did wash it before using, gentle cycle. Some reviews said that it fell apart after washing, it did NOT do that, it was just fine. The material is not soft though. It is a little “crispy” feeling, but that may soften up in time.
