Very comfortable! One of my newest favorite additions to my deck. However it does not sit nearly as upright as the pictures suggest and it’s pretty easy to tip over. It sits more like a bowl, so if you don’t care about that it’s great! I couldn’t be happier with this oversized rocking chair! Both my daughter (6) and I can actually fit on it together and exactly what I was looking for…comfortable, sturdy, and the perfect size for relaxing outside. Assembly was straightforward and fairly easy (although I did lose a bolt in the grass so I don’t recommend putting together in the grass) with clear instructions that made the process smooth. The quality exceeded my expectations, and I can already tell it’s going to get a lot of use. I also want to give a special shoutout to the Wayfair customer service team. I had a small issue with delivery, but they stepped in immediately and made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. This chair was not hard to put together but it wasn’t easy either. It took two of us because the way it was constructed, one person had to hold the pieces while the other put the screws in or else the pieces wouldn’t line up right for the screws to go in all the way. Once we got them together, I really liked how they looked and fit in our space. They are comfortable however, you can definitely feel the braces underneath. I plan on getting a memory foam pad to cut to size and put under the cushion in hopes I can’t feel them as much. The image also makes it seem like you sit up more than you actually do. When leaning back against the cushion, you are semi-lying down. We needed to put a firm pillow behind our back to be in a more upright, sitting position.
