First the item is very heavy in the box. If you are by yourself, I recommend getting help or open the box where it's at and bring it in piece by piece. As far as assembly went, it was by far one of the easier pieces this self-proclaimed DIY expert has done. Make sure you have a decent sized space to work with. There is some hammering needed for the frame. It comes with a small mallet but if you have a regular sized rubber mallet, I encourage you to use it. Depending on your height you may need a step ladder. I'm 5'2 and was able to put this together in just under 2 hours. I needed a different delivery date, she advised me on how to handle; and it worked perfectly. Putting the tables together did take several hours with two of us. We recommend at least two to put them together. We did read the instructions beforehand but did find a couple tasks that we did have to go back to. We recommend that when attaching the lift arm, to cover the opening to the base (taped piece of paper does the trick). This avoids any issue of losing a screw into the opening. The table is perfect for my purposes and was fairly easy to put together with two people. The drawers come preinstalled to the table top, which is nice, but you would think they would be space properly. They’re don’t slide as well as I would like them too.
