It’s a nice chair, on the lower side and quite comfortable It took me 25 minutes to assemble the chair, for me it was straight forward and I didnt have any problems, just follow the instructions and be swear that the bigger holes need to show to the outside to connect the arm pieces, it’s already written in the box so I don’t have the issue at all. Absolutely love this chair! I got as a reading chair, and it is a classic and timeless look. I am 5’2, and it has a deep enough seat to rest my legs on it. It was also extremely easy to assemble. The only downside was the bottom corners had small smudges on them, I am assuming from shipping. I was able to remove with stain remover so wasn’t a big deal and also again on the bottom so unnoticeable. The chair is on the firmer side but think it will soften over time so I don’t mind it! Had a tad of trouble doing a couple of the screws bc my drill was too big so Id suggest getting one of those long bendy attachments for your drill to be able to get in the little corner crevice. It's a decent chair. Not bad, but not exceptional either. Pro: It looks very nice, and is made of solid wood. Con: The chair, while made of solid wood, creaks ever so slightly when I sit on it. Now, I'm not worried about myself breaking it, as I only weigh 135lbs. But if I was significantly heavier... I wonder how long it would last. Overall: at time of writing, I reviewed the various options, and this was the nicest quality chair on Wayfair in this price range and in the finish that I wanted. Overall these are nice chairs for the price. They seem comfortable — I haven’t spent a ton of time sitting in them yet, but my cats absolutely love lounging on them, so that’s a good sign . A couple things to note: the armrest placement feels a bit off — it’s not super comfortable to actually rest your arms on them. The style kind of reminds me of a doctor’s office waiting room, which isn’t bad but not exactly the vibe I expected. Assembly was mostly easy, but one frustrating part is that there are no pre-drilled screw holes on the bottom. You’re pretty much guessing where to screw the seat in, which was a little annoying.
