This chair is very sturdy and the cushioning is thick and comfortable. I like that the mechanical parts are covered so that little fingers cannot get pinched. It glides very smoothly and quietly. I am really pleased with these glider chairs. They are very comfortable for both my tall husband and petite me. Like other reviewers mentioned, they are a bit challenging to assemble, but worth the effort. It was very important to me to not have any furniture leaving rust stains on my porch, like my last set. These super sturdy resin chairs will never do that. Also, I want to mention that the back and the cup holders are adjustable, and the glide action is smooth. I highly recommend!. Seattlemammamia.
