Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. Nice crisp cotton sheets that hold up well in the washer and dryer. Haven't had any issues with them shrinking either. The sizing is generous and I've had no problems fitting these onto my mattress. I really love the pattern and quality. These sheets even allow my skin to breathe better. I've always preferred a more crisp sheet than to a soft. These are definitely nothing like a cheap cotton set either, the quality is impressive. They're well worth every penny I spent purchasing them and honestly a great value for the money.
