It took us several hours to finish putting it together mostly because we don't often construct things. When you get to the part where you attach an inner ring to the outer legs, we used the large box it came in to hold it in place by placing it under the metal pieces- which balanced it and held it in place while you screw in place.. We did repaint the top as it faded a bit, but as I mentioned, we did leave it out in some bad weather, so I didn't expect the finish to stay perfect.
