I would give a 10 if I could. I have a bad back and so finding a chair that is comfortable for both short and long periods of time is crucial. This chair is amazing! It hugs just right at the bottom of the shoulder blades and but is designed with a slight flair so as you recline a bit it to adjusts to hold your back without you feeling stiff or in a position that isn’t real. We actually like that they provide the ability to have dinner and then if we choose continue at the table with conversation or even games for long periods of time thereafter. These chairs are comfy dining chairs. The mix of fabric and color elevate the look of these chairs and work well in our small space. They arrived pretty quickly but the assembly was a bit tricky. These chairs look really good, and have this mcm feel, exactly what I was looking for. I will say that they were a big tricky to build, the bolts didn’t align well. This chair is solidly built. Weight capacity is 300 lbs. The cushy seat and sloping back are padded upholstery sewn with subtle channels. Channel tufted upholstery gives the chair a polished look while still keeping its cushiness. The welt-cord details add a sophisticated look. The durable faux leather is super easy to wipe down!!! Both the black and brown are kind of modern matt tones with only quite a light sheen, not tacky at all!
