Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. I am really really impressed with this bunk bed. I read TONS of reviews and scoured the Internet and really glad I decided to buy this. I have a picky husband who despises poor quality (more than most people) so I knew he’d be reviewing each and every piece with a critical eye. Even he is a big fan of these beds!!! Very well made, all the holes lined up, not a scratch to be seen. My girls LOVE it and were so happy. We went with a 9 inch mattress on top. This isn’t the cheapest bunk bed on the market...but it’s worth every penny. It’s a very safe and well made construction. FYI...this shipped in 10+ boxes...large boxes. My husband put together by himself. He changed up the directions and put together the bottom first, then the frame of the top, and then the top slats, just FYI. I only helped carry the boxes upstairs. And we opened all the boxes first and got all the hardware pieces and directions together before starting. We purchased the blue bunks. The color is beautiful for our grandsons big boy room. My husband assembled the beds in 3- 3 12 hours. The parts were labeled and ready to go. One person can easily assemble the beds but it does require a second person to help lift the beds. The color matches the dresser perfectly. This bunkbed is really nice looking and solid and a great bargain. The bed gets 5 stars. HOWEVER, assembly was an atrocious process and would earn negative stars. None of the parts were labeled. Each piece had multiple patterns of holes on several sides and trying to line them up facing the proper way was a process. The instructions are almost nonexistent- just very small pictures with confusing arrows everywhere. Once everything was lined up appropriately it really wasn’t hard to put together but labels and written instructions would make a huge difference.
