100% handmade, our best-selling live-edge coffee table looks stunning in any room. Its modern industrial design is made to last with premium South American walnut and a zero VOC (non-toxic) topcoat with the hardness and durability of a traditional lacquer or polyurethane.

It looks as pictured. When the drawer is facing the sofa, the back of the drawer cannot be seen, so it looks really sleek and clean from the other side. My only disappointment is that the top is finished in a matte acrylic. I'm sure it was done to help protect it from spills and such, but real wood (solid, no veneers) like this should have some shine to the surface. Up close, matte on real wood makes it look and feel (!) like Formica. It's still a really good deal for the money and we're happy with it. Oh, and oddly, the drawer itself is made from solid wood and has smooth-acting metal slides, which was a nice surprise. The originator knows how to box!
