I bought this as a runner for the landing of my stairs. I don’t know why, but I thought it would have a thicker pile and more heft to it. It looks nice and feels nice, but slides around a bit on the hardwood and also slides off a rug pad so you can see the cheesy white rug pad underneath. Really nice hallway runner! Beautiful colors, good quality, nice underfoot feel. Really brightens up the space, which had been a bit dark. Fortunately the color was beige as described and not yellow as the first picture looked. my previous Wayfair rug came rolled up and spread out nicely. Ordered this Colindale Brown Area rug by Astoria Grand Tuesday. It arrived in 3 days! The colors of the rug I ordered are dark browns, sage green, and off white with a little bit of ruby red in the roses. It is not a loud pattern, nor is it soft in the colors. A medium quiet looking rug with chocolate brown as the dominant theme.
