This heavy duty, very large wok has an extra handle opposite the regular one, making lifting it from the stove easy. Its non-stick surface works well. I believe one could put it into the dishwasher but it is simple to wash since nothing sticks and it’s really too large to fit. This is excellent and nearly perfect for what I need it to do. Before you read on, you can just stop right here if you are not expecting to use it like a woke. Here's why this is now my workhorse in the kitchen. 1. in the new apartment, I no longer have a high powered gas stove, a traditional wok is not useless. This thing is almost as light as a hand hammered iron wok. 2. it's thin enough that heats up fast to stir fry 3. it does not retain heat nearly as much as my hexclad...which is key to woking.....heats up fast and cools down fast 4. it has more raised steel parts than hexclad, it provide better, faster heating, and frankly better flavor (yes, it will stick much more....but this is a wok, if you are sticking with a wok, you are probably not using it right) 5. it comes with a very nice lid with I use may be 20% of the time. You may also continue to rub the pan with a hand towel to ensure the oil is evenly coated throughout the pan. Place your pan back on the stove and heat until smoking. Be sure to heat the sides of the pan over the flame to ensure the entire surface area is heated. Once smoking turn the heat off and allow the pan to cool quickly. While the oven is preheating - Wash the pan with warm soapy water dry it with a towel and then place it on the stovetop and heat to ensure the pan is thoroughly dried. One pan is dry use oil of choice and with a paper towel apply around the interior and exterior of the pan. You may also continue to rub the pan with a hand towel to ensure the oil is evenly coated throughout the pan. Place the pan into the fully heated oven upside down on the rack above the foil-lined baking sheet. Leave the pan in the oven for an hour. After an hour turn off the oven but leave the pan in there until it is cool to the touch.

I am so impressed with this Lexi Home modern kitchen basics 5 quart non stick stainless steel wok with lid! It arrived quickly and is made of high quality durable material. Love love I’m surprised how thick it is and a nice weight not too heavy and not to large. I have all clad pans and this is a nice addition to an everyday pot . I bought it mainly to make rice bc of the width it’s hard to find pot that’s aren’t narrow for rice .This is perfect for it I haven’t made anything else in it yet just rice but seems it’ll be my got too for many dishes . And i actually was looking for and love the 2 short handles instead of 1 short and 1 long pan handle which seems standard for such larger cookware. However, the way the short handles are mounted onto the metal attachments, one needs to be careful when grabbing the hot wok as the metal attachment sites are too close to the middle of the wooden dowls and you could burn yourself by accident.
