This chair is very sturdy and the cushioning is thick and comfortable. I like that the mechanical parts are covered so that little fingers cannot get pinched. It glides very smoothly and quietly. I am really pleased with these glider chairs. They are very comfortable for both my tall husband and petite me. Super comfortable chair. The back sits up straight enough for support but is cushy and adjustable enough for long nights rocking a baby. The taupe color is warm and the fabric seems really durable without showing stains and wear. So far many naps have already taken place in it. Very happy with the purchase. UPDATE: 4 years later, this thing squeaks like none other. No matter how you rock in it or where you seat on the seat, there are squeaks and creaks.
