Solid, well-made, and most important, comfortable! You don't "sink into" the cushions, which while supportive, are not at all too hard in my view. At a certain age, "sinking into the cushions" poses a real challenge when you go to try to stand up. (Don't ask me how I know.) I decided on four stars only because the very nice leather has an intentional "mottled look," which isn't my favorite, but I'll get used to it. In love with this sofa because it is extremely comfortable, even though it’s not real leather. The stitching is very line and even. The back is a comfortable height, even for my 6’7” husband. The legs are not of the best quality but I intend on purchasing some nice walnut colored ones from WayFair. This sofa upholstery goes perfectly with all my Walnut colored woods in the room. The seat depth is nice too. It comes right at the curve of my leg and knee. This one is a keeper because of the high quality look and aesthetics of the style. Price is excellent too.
