Very very nice chairs! Box did show up and it was a little busted and open. Everything was fine except one of the chairs got a tear on the top. Not a huge deal, I reached out to Wayfair and the manufacture sent me a set of two chairs at no cost! Putting them together was a breeze. Attached the bottom to the back and screw the legs on, Simple. The color of the chairs go so well with our aesthetic and the legs/frame matched our table perfectly! These are beautiful chairs and look a lot higher quality compared to the price point. I'll definitely agree with other reviewers that these are NOT easy to install if you use only the provided hex wrench - I'm a pretty handy person but the way the screws have to go into the chair you can only move the wrench about 1/4" at a time...it took me like 40 minutes to try to just get a couple of them in one chair until my boyfriend said "how about use the impact driver". Yes - to properly and efficiently assemble these you will need 1) a rubber mallet to tap the dowels into the seat boards 2) a drill 3) a 6" extender drill bit 4) a bit that will work as the hex wrench (e.g. star shape) and a Phillips bit for the other set of screws that go into the seat. Doing this with only the hex wrench will take you HOURS; using these tools will be 10 minutes per chair. The seat bottom also does not have pre-drilled holes - which at first was a bit like "ok, are these gonna go in the right spot..." but if you make sure the seat is all the way pushed back against the frame (chair will be upside down on a table at this stage) and then drop the screws into the pre drilled holes and again use the extender with the Phillips bit on the drill it'll work great.. These chairs looked similar to one’s in a furniture store for much less money and I’ve had good luck with Wayfair pieces before, so I ordered set of 2 to try. They were easy to put together, I was able to do pretty quickly myself except, the screws (10) 4 to attach seat, 6 to finish legs. There are not any pre-drilled holes for these screws. which made me nervous like other reviewers had stated, and I was afraid of the wood splitting. Therefore, to be safe I did have my husband use his impact drill to do the screws. They came out great, they’re very comfortable. Good quality went ahead and ordered four more. Only issue was some of the legs on bottom (see photos)were not finished with black and just unfinished wood. Don’t really see so not deal breaker for me, especially for great price. Also will need to get some type of floor protectors to add to legs. Overall, extremely happy with the quality and amazing price of these chairs. Would recommend and buy again. Shelley. NY. Chairs are great but Wayfair’s customer service needs to be tweaked. We ordered 4 gold chairs and received two in white and two in Gold. The good news we highly recommend the Gold over the white they are beautiful. Last month Wayfair goofed up a delivery with a wrong phone number when we had given it to them 5 times. Note we love dealing with Wayfair and they are going to send us the correct chairs. Two goof ups on the last two orders is not pleasant, but it sure beats my wife and I driving all over the State looking for furniture. We highly recommended this Tommy Bahama brand .
