Wow! I love these…but I had no idea they were painted or printed wood (the multicolored all over design); I honestly thought the colored design was fabric and that these were fabric covered boxes! They look like fabric in the pics online, and even in person. It wasn’t until I got them and removed them from the great and careful packaging that I touched them and was shocked that they were all wood. Even better, i thought, because they won’t get pilled or snag over time like fabric would. I also wasn’t expecting them to be so BIG! I mean, I saw the measurements, but the larger one is so much bigger then I imagined it would be…this isn’t necessarily a problem per se, but it does mean that I’ll have to find a different use for the larger one then I planned, which is fine. I am very happy with this wooden box. It really looks impressive. I keep this on a side table in the kitchen. Love the vintage look. My husband takes many medicines and I wanted something decorative to keep them in. I have no idea why this item is described as "tan." It is a warm golden color that goes well with the golden oak in my room. My only concern is how it is packaged. This wooden box is inside a cardboard box that is inside an outer carboard box. Packing tape holds both boxes sealed on the top. Getting the outer box open is easy. However, when attempting to open the inner box, DO NOT USE A BLADE IN THE CENTER OF THAT PACKING TAPE.
