They are beautiful! They are just not bright enough with the dark shade. It’s more of a nightlight. I had an electrician hard wire them over our nightstands and add a light switch just behind the nightstands so we can turn off and on from bed. I used 60 watt bulbs which is the highest wattage. This fixture offers a beautiful old-fashioned sconce in a uniquely modern form. We’ve whittled away the fussiness and brought lamp and arm close to the wall.
