I opened up all the zippers and took all the stuffing packets out and hand separated all the foam allowed the foam chunks to expand then reassembled. I it to my dog and put in on the floor and she climbed on and fell sound asleep. She has a back leg that is always sore due to femoral osteotomy and she is in heaven . For reference I got the biggest one and she weighs 60 pounds boxer mix. Ben the cat loves his new bed! I covered the cushion with one of the easy-wash covers I use for his other baskets and beds. The whole thing weighs a ton so it is very sturdy. If the pet fits comfortably in the length/width they will be comfortable on the thick cushion. Ben only weighs 12 pounds and 2 cats would probably be comfortable together.
