I bought it in walnut. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy. I put it together my self (55F) over the course of a few hours after work with no issues. The only issue I had was that it had a defect in the glaze on front. The manufacturer offered a nice discount, so I decided to keep it. This credenza is absolutely beautiful. I was just looking for something decent enough for my office to hold binders and office storage.What I got was a chic piece of statement furniture that is also functional and gives me tons of storage to boot. The color is a deep gray just shy of black. The doors are “fluted” and the handles are a nice soft gold. I kept polishing the front because it looked dusty and then I realized it was a reflection from the handles. The interior shelving is adjustable so there is room for large binders. One long drawer and two short make for adequate space for smaller supplies. I did expect the drawers to be deeper but they are fairly shallow compared to the base. This came in two exceptionally heavy boxes and literally several hundred pieces. I did use the assembly service and it was worth every penny! This thing was a bear but he was a champion! This side board is gorgeous in peron. I purchased two of them to serve as a long TV console with the TV mounted on the wall just above it. The color is rich. The shelves are spacious. I added a few wooden baskets inside to keep stuff neat. Note, the entire piece isnt wooden but the legs and front are. It took the installer about 2hrs to put both pieces together.
