Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, fabric feels softer and natural, which was important to me since we have an 18 month old baby. Quality is much higher relative to price point. I was able to assemble it myself , while baby was "helping" me, instructions were pretty straightforward and it took me about an hour, no breaking sweat. This Cognac faux leather sofa from Wayfair is absolutely gorgeous, but assembling it was a whole thing. Even with two of us working on it, connecting some of the pieces felt impossible. And don’t even get me started on the pillows—after they expanded out of the shrink-wrap, squeezing them into those covers was like a full contact sport. I genuinely thought we were going to tear them. That said, now that it’s all together, it’s super sturdy and the color is just chef’s kiss. Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color.
