I am ultimately happy with it and it does what I need. There is a lengthy construction process with 44 steps and a tone of screws; i definitely benefited from gentle use of a power drill for some steps while others needed to be done by hand. there is one type of diagram - that shows how to install the sliding tracks that is initially very hard to interpret. but taking my time and having a second pair of hands for the first half of construction made it work and its more or less exactly what I wanted for the space. eventually when I habe a bigger budget I would prefer hardwood but this is a reasonable solution for a small space. This bed is elegant and sleek but on trend with my vision for the room. It’s fairly high off the ground and I will be adding a bed skirt. It was easy to assemble with no issues. No box spring needed. This bed was great for our needs. I got it for my 22 year old God-daughter and she loved it. The color is a pretty grey. The quality is good and sturdy. It was moderately easy to assemble. There were definitely a few confusing parts of the directions but we were able to figure it out without it taking long. The main reason I can not give it 5 stars is that the remote did not work. My daughter loves having the extra storage above her head, as well as down below the bed.
