The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. No issues with the (king) frame moving around or squeaking. Everything is sturdy. Assembly was quick and easy. The picture colors were accurate. Very nice bedframe. I needed a bed with a shorter headboard to accommodate the window in my bedroom. This bed works great and seems very sturdy. My only complaint is that the pre-drilled holes to attach the brackets on the headboard and footboard aren't nearly large enough so I had to go in and drill them a little wider.
