A great table that matches our other living room tables (from a different brand, but same look and design). We just sold our counter height table and chairs for this glass top table. The biggest difference is in the perception of the space in the room. Even though this table is much bigger than the old solid wood table, the room looks bigger due to the openness of the glass. The living room/dining room area just looks so much better and bigger. This unit ships in 3 boxes. The glass top, the metal legs and the wood beam are all packaged separately, which makes for safer shipping for each piece. Glass table tops work well in small areas so you get the feeling of space. That is the number one reason I went with it. I was concerned that it would not be sturdy, if you look at it you get the feeling that if you put weight on the edge, the table could flip up. Not a chance.
