This is a really beautiful and sturdy piece of furniture. Mine did come with a crack on the top edge. But it did not affect the structural integrity and so I reported it to the manufacturer. They were great to work with and we came to an agreement that I feel is fair to all. This does come with a marker too in case you scratch something while assembling and so I used that on the crack and though I know it is there, I doubt any guests would ever notice it now. It is heavy so make sure you don’t try and move it by yourself. About 100 pounds. Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf.
