It is a beautiful table and well made, but the color is a cream. If you are looking for a pure white table, then this one is not for you. It was pretty easy to put together with the chairs taking the longest. There is a distinct line in the table where the leaf is stored. It’s not a total smooth surface. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen.
