With a wood texture, it is waterproof, anti-stain, lightweight, and easy to apply. You don't need to be professional, saving your time and budget. They are sticky, but for the edge, you can use some contact glue on the underlayer to enhance it. Honestly the best flooring I’ve used yet. Very easy to cut and work with. I chose to use my saw, no issues with splitting or cutting. It all snapped in together nicely. This is the floor of my dreams. I am so happy. First of all, it looks just like the product page photo. The sample I ordered was darker, had little or no red tones, just sort of flat looking. The customer photos are what convinced me to take a chance and I am so glad I did. The finish is smooth and glossy, the red tones gleam. It is so elegant. I LOVE it! Update: 11 months later, I still love this flooring. Maintenance has required a learning curve. It does show dirt and dust quite a bit and my cats leave little paw prints everywhere so it needs to be cleaned a few times a week, which I don't love. I discovered the best way to clean it is with a dish soap and water solution (a few drops of dish soap to about a quart of water) sprayed on a microfiber mop pad and not directly on the floor. We are in the process of remodeling our home. Today we are installing this product—and so far, it’s been super easy. There are 10 planks in a box and it was packaged incredibly well so as to avoid damage during shipping. The quality of the product is excellent. I love how easy it is to operate the tongue and groove system but there are a few pieces that have been tricky. It’s also a bit hard to match up the “knotholes” in the pattern. I ordered this laminate flooring for a guest bathroom. The company gets an A plus for packaging. Took me at least 10 minutes to get the box opened. Very good job protecting the flooring. I haven’t installed it just yet. I want to finish psinting the walls before laying the flooring. This laminate flooring is one of the best I’ve come across. Very well made.
