This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. The color of the material is the same that I picked out the table is gorgeous the chairs are gorgeous I loved everything I was just unhappy with FedEx that they didn't let me know that they were there to let him upstairs or anything they just dropped off the packages at the mailroom when you walk in and left so I had to bring everything upstairs and I'm just able so it was kind of hard for me to do that.
