This is the perfect size for crushing my herbs and spices. I have a large one made from onyx but I dont use it because Im afraid of chipping it. Its mostly a beautiful decorative piece because its so large. This one is much smaller and its made of marble so Im not worried about it chipping. It has a nice heft to it and its beautiful.
