I recently purchased the Ophelia Solid Wood Platform Bed in the Chalk finish (King size) and I couldn’t be happier. This bed is everything I wanted and more. The chalk color is beautiful — it has that perfect weathered, driftwood look with subtle white undertones that make the natural wood grain pop without looking too gray or too brown. It blends effortlessly with both modern and farmhouse styles. The headboard has a lovely curved, traditional shape that adds character and elegance to the room. What really impressed me is the quality of the solid wood. It feels incredibly sturdy and heavy-duty. No creaking, no wobbling — even with two adults and our energetic dog jumping on it. The Queen Size Sleigh bed is extremely solid! It was really easy to put together. The color of the wood fits in perfectly with my existing furniture! It came packaged very well with no damage during delivery. If there is any downside, I would say the Queen size frame fits the box spring snug with no room to spare. Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built.
