I absolutely adore these barstools! I purchased them when we moved into our home six years ago, and I’m happy to say that we still use and love them today. One thing that makes me especially impressed with these chairs is that they’ve survived six years with rambunctious kids. My children are not particularly gentle with furniture, and these chairs have been tipped over more than a few times. As a result, the backrests have loosened and slightly broken in a couple of spots over the years. Thankfully, we’ve been able to tighten everything back up with an Allen wrench, and they’ve remained perfectly usable. The black legs have also accumulated a few chips and scuffs from daily family life, kids running into them, toys, and general wear and tear. However, after six years of heavy use, I still think they look fantastic. One thing to note is that the seats are wood and have decorative grooves where crumbs and food can collect. It’s not a major issue, but you may occasionally need to wipe them out or vacuum the grooves to keep them clean. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these barstools. They are stylish, durable, and have held up remarkably well in a busy household. I receive compliments on them all the time, and people are always surprised when I tell them they’re from Wayfair. First one took longer (learning curve). 4th one took 23 minutes from careful unpacking to putting the felt pads on the bottom of the legs. I lost 2 minutes due to trying to get the paper off the sticky pads . I like that there are small indentations in case you want to put the screw in type later. Overall.
