Gourmet Settings steak knives will be the sharpest tools in the drawer! They've sourced the highest grade 13/0 stainless steel to create a steak knife with a serrated edge that runs the full length of the blade for maximum cutting surface. Perfectly weighted and made with heat-forged stainless steel, these knives will cut through any steak like butter – and their quality is guaranteed for years to come.

I bought two sets of these to replace the bargain bin steak knives I've had forever. I love the single-tang construction, and I can throw them in the dishwasher (because I'm lazy). They have nice heft, cut well, and look nice. I almost wish they weren't serrated, but that's a very minor complaint.. Hannah. San Ramon, CA. Tue Dec 16 2025

Ergonomic, user-friendly handles with signature dimple patterns offer a comfortable, slip-resistant grip. The smooth contours and seamless construction eliminate food and dirt traps, offering the ultimate in safety and hygiene. Global heavyweight 7-inch butcher knife. This heavyweight Global knife has more heft and a thicker blade than the knives in our classic G series. Excellent for butchering meat. Loved by professional chefs around the world, Global knives are an excellent choice for the serious home cook. The thin and razor-sharp Global blade allows the cook to cleanly slice through foods, preserving the integrity of the ingredient and maximizing its flavor. The majority of Global knives are ground to a straight point rather than the western style of beveling the edge. To balance their knives Global uses a hollow handle that is filled with just the right amount of sand to create the correct balance. The handle has its own unique darkened dimples for a non-slip grip. Global knives have a smooth contour and seamless, all stainless construction that eliminates food and dirt traps. Global knives are forged in Japan from Cromova 18 Stainless Steel, a blend of 18-percent chromium for good stain resistance plus molybdenum and vanadium which gives excellent edge retention.

I loved the knife I received. Excellent butcher knife.. Jesus. Newark, CA. Fri Jul 26 2024

A carving knife with hollow ground/granton edge is used to slice thin cuts of meat such as poultry, roasts, hams and other large cooked meats. The blade is thinner than a chef's knife for more precise slices of meat. The scalloped grooves on the sides of the blade edge help with reducing friction and sticking of foods.

The Miyabi Black 5000MCD is a true work of art. The blade is constructed of micro-carbide powdered MC66 steel, which is ice-hardened to an impressive 66 HRC. This results in an exceptionally sharp and lasting edge. The blade is wrapped in 132 additional layers of steel, resulting in a beautiful flower Damascus pattern. The handle of the Miyabi Black series is made from unique wood, black ash. The grain and color of the black ash contrast with the Damascus of the blade. The handle is crafted in a traditional "D" shape, providing optimal ergonomics for fatigue-free cutting in the kitchen.

I am a professional chef and this knife has carried me though many long shifts working carving stations and have not had to stop and resharpen, this has superior edge retention. 10/10 recommend!. Nathaniel Rohrbach. Tue Apr 07 2026
