Broyhill Assembled Solid Wood Chest

This solid wood chest will give your room a warm and rustic look. This design features five, spacious 5” deep drawers. Made of 100% solid wood from renewable forests, this chest will last for many years and has minimal impact on the environment. The finish is designed to accentuate the unique grain, knots, and natural textures in the wood panels; and each piece is sanded and distressed by the hand, leading to variations in the color and texture that make every unit unique. This distressed finish is very durable and easy to touch up.

We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). This dresser is by far my favorite wayfair order to date! Its such great quality, functional, and beautiful. It is a nice large piece that fits so much inside it. The top drawer on each side are more shallow than the bottom drawers, which is nice to have the variety to store different things. It would be nice if the drawers glided a little more smoothly, and it did arrive with a few very minor scratches. However neither was a big enough deal to warrant a return or complaint. Not a high quality item. I think the price is too high for what it is. First one came completely broken and was packaged as just the dresser in a box.
