The instructions were ok except 1 bag of hardware was not labeled. The sofa took about 2 1/2 hours to put together. As long as you pay attention to the directions you shouldn't have a problem although a second set of hands would have helped. When cushions are on the sofa the seating is 18 inches , now I see why that is not listed. Low seats. The cushions are good quality and the frame seems well put together. make sure you leave all screws loose in order to tighten everything at the end. these pics are after putting together which is why so wrinkled.. I really like this sofa. I got royal blue and it really looks great on my deck. It was packaged great and only took about 30 minutes for 2 people to assemble (the only reason you need 2 people is so one can hold pieces while the other screws them in). All the holes lined up and the parts were perfect. I really wanted a high-backed sofa so I could have my neck supported and doze more easily - and they perfectly fits the bill. I only have 2 minor issues. As another reviewer said, the fabric is scratchy. Now, it's waterproof so It's not going to be super soft but I didn't like the way it felt on my bare arms. It's also hot, which I attribute to the waterproof nature negatively affecting breathability. But, it holds the heat of the day for quite a while after the sun has set. I found the cushions to be thick, firm, and very nice otherwise. But I could slightly feel a vertical bar behind my end/back cushion and it bothers me every now and then. I am a large person but not heavier than the weight capacity of the sofa (by far) so I don't know if my discomfort had to do with my size. I did not purchase the Carolina ottomans - the ones you see in the photos are by the same company but are called Gaetanino Wicker Outdoor Ottoman - I love them. I recommend this sofa!. Lisa. Box arrived damaged, but everything inside was fine. Assembly is easy (took me 45 min) but would have been faster with 2 people. This couch is stunning!!! The beading all along the frame really elevates the look and the material feels amazing. The cushions are full and thick, making it firm but comfortable. As an added bonus the cushions have Velcro on them to keep them securely in place. The feet even have beautiful detailing to show the love put into the design.
