This type of in-ground solar light automatically lights up when night comes and automatically turns off when the sun rises. Please make sure it can be exposed to direct sunlight. Insert it into soft soil or dig a hole for it in advance. We recommend keeping the solar panel clean always. They are IP65 waterproof so they can withstand rain, but they cannot be put into water for a long time, please don't lay them in a low-lay area to avoid soaking in water.

These solar lights do not give off quite the same glow as shown in the pictures. The pictures make it look like a pattern of light but really it's just a solid circle of light.
