The chair fits my kitchen counter. I like the back on it and that it swivels. It was easy to put together right out of the box. Reason for 4 stars-the seat has the seam at the front, I would think it should be at the back. In order to do so you would have to remove the seat back and drill a new hole. They fabric stains easily but it’s just a matter of getting a wet cloth and clean them here and there. I am giving it a 4 star rating only for one reason: this stool is higher than 26". In fact, it's about 29". See my picture below, showing my previous red stool (26"), this denim stool (29"), and the counter. Still debating if we are going to keep it. The only other thing to keep in mind is while assembling it (which is pretty straightforward -- took me 10 minutes for each stool), keep the legs pretty loose in the beginning since you need to fit the square metallic footrest between the legs and need them to move around to accommodate the footrest. These Bridgette bar stools are really good quality. Exactly as described. I had read a review that the oatmeal color was more gray, I don’t agree as the color is perfect, not gray but not beige either and exactly what I was after. Overall I like the look. I god the dusty pink color and it does not read as particularly pinky in my room, but looks nice. The quality feels decent for the price and they were not overly hard to assemble. My only complaint is that as a wider person, these feel a bit small, I think its because of the rounded back?.
