This is a well-made, accurate globe with a raised relief to represent topography like mountain ranges. My one complaint is that the color of the holder looks a little darker in the online picture as though it were an antique brass finish, and the actual color is bright golden (spray-painted steel?), so uniform in color that it almost looks plastic. The light is so pretty and the perfect touch of color that I needed over my kitchen sink. It came with plenty of cable to make it as long as you might need. The glass shade is not too big or too small. It was a fairly easy installation, but there was one problem. The base of the light that covers the plate where it hangs is not big enough.
