The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value.. Delivery was quick and on time. The boxes were packaged very well and no damage was noted after unpacking. All the parts were accounted for with a few extras. I got two and my husband put them together by himself. The first one took about 2.5 hours and the second one took him just under 2 hours. Probably could have done it less time, but he had a couple interruptions with service people and chasing geese out of the yard. He said the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. During the building process, he said there was a point where the shelves were very "rickety". They become very stable as you continue to build. He said just be careful and take your time. They look very nice and suit my needs. The only thing to note, is the cabinets on the bottom measure 14". That measurement doesn't account for the doors closing. Probably should allow about an inch to allow the doors to close completely. There is a small gap (1/4") between the doors. Depending on what you put there and how close it is the to doors, it might show through the space. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy again if I needed more.. Lisa. Summerville, SC.
