I really wanted to give this desk a 4.5 stars but that wasn’t an option. We got it to replace the vanity in my fifteen year old’s room. It had great desktop space for her Chromebook and papers. I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive. Beautiful desk, frustrating assembly Once assembled, this desk looks fantastic. The white finish and gold hardware give it an upscale appearance, and the size is perfect for a home office or bedroom workspace. The drawers provide good storage, and the finished product looks much more expensive than its price point. Unfortunately, the assembly process was one of the most frustrating furniture builds I have experienced. Several diagrams in the instruction manual appear to be incorrect. Some parts were not labeled, and the drawer slide illustrations were reversed, which caused significant confusion and required disassembling and rebuilding portions of the desk after it was already assembled. I also found several small chips in the white finish. They are not highly noticeable from a distance, but they were disappointing on a new piece of furniture. The desk itself earns high marks for appearance and functionality, but the instructions and quality control issues prevented this from being a 5-star experience.
