My husband assembled it in a couple of hours without any major issues. Once put together, there was absolutely no wobbling or creaking—it feels very solid and well-made. I did purchase a 2-inch box spring to provide additional support for our 14-inch mattress. Even with the box spring, there is still plenty of headboard visible, and the overall look is beautiful. The frame comes with four support slats, and each slat has two legs that extend to the floor for added stability and support. I was initially worried that the quality might be lacking or that the bed would feel rickety, but neither of those concerns turned out to be true. The craftsmanship appears to be very good, the bed is sturdy, and it looks fantastic in our bedroom. I would absolutely purchase this bed again and would confidently recommend it to others. Kohut Bed is amazing. I absolutely love it. Was able to put it together myself. I am not very good normally -at putting anything together. It stunned me with how solid and sturdy it was. Feels so comfortable and most of all – like it was built to last a long time. I have three wonderful dachshunds and wanted a low to the ground bed – that was sturdy and attractive. Got it. I purchased 4 inch box springs and 8 inch awesome queen mattress. Put a dog play fence around it – and made small ramp. Wow – I am comfortable and happy and the dachshunds are in love with the new bed – and they are safe. Most people aren’t going to buy it for dachshunds.
