I did not purchase this to use as a desk. I needed a corner vanity and did not want to spend a lot of money. This was perfect for the budget and worked out great! The directions were very straightforward and easy to follow with the exception of the final step of placing the top shelving to the bottom base. The two sections in the corner as I show in the picture want to separate. This requires two people. I assembled this by myself and it took several hours. It is a great piece of furniture for a gaming desk or to use as a vanity. The light strip is a straight continuous wire and does not have an L shape to allow for the corner and sticks out. Adjustable Height Electric Desk

Desk arrived a day early which was nice. Fast shipping! I think it looks larger than it actually is but its still nice enough. Its not real big wood, but that being said I think its a decent desk. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble and the directions lacked a bit in some areas. If you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out no problem. Some of the items were labeled incorrectly and some not at all so you really had to study the picture to make you had the correct piece. Also if you just make sure to pay attention to the orientation of the pieces youll be ok. As luck would have it I didnt make one single mistake (that never happens!). The spindle that turns the desk is difficult to insert into the side piece. I recommend lubing up with some soap. Works well without issue once all together. Nice feature to have a standing desk. This is a great standing desk. I previously used a desktop riser, but I really like that this entire desk adjusts up and down.
