I almost deducted a star for the instructions that could have been more clear, or the labeling of parts. I had to take it apart 3x during construction and turn the frames around to align them properly, because they weren't all labeled "front" and "back" and the pictures in the back weren't clear, so some of it was like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I didn't figure out which was which until I'd put it together, so I had to deconstruct it and turn things around. But then the finished product came out to be so beautiful and elegant. Here’s why this one was a great choice for us it’s the right height for children aged 1-6 it holds about 25-30 board books it’s simple attractive and— most importantly— the shelves are *angled.* why is this important So your books don’t fall forward!
