Arrived damaged on one corner and a small dent thru the veneer on the table top. Wayfair said the manufacturer would reach out in two business days but its so heavy I dont want to handle a return. I think Ill put a coat of lacquer on it to keep my kids from scratching it. For the price this is an excellent solid table. Fits great in my small space and two wider chairs still fit side by side on the length. Nice size at 38” x 60” with straight (not curved) edges, and the corners are slight rounded which is safer if you have small children who might bump into them ………. it will still hurt, but hopefully not as much! The top is made from Alder which has natural knots/worm holes so be prepared for that. It’s not defective just the natural wood.
